Final phase cycling lane construction begins

The final phase of construction has begun downtown on the 7 Street south portion of the cycling lanes. The construction will take place between 4th Avenue to 7th avenue south and will connect the downtown bike lanes to the 7 Avenue bike boulevard and the city-wide cycling network.

The ground was broken on Monday, May 27 and is estimated to take around four weeks to complete. According to City officials a full road closure is not anticipated, but there will be slight lane reductions in the area and a temporary loss of parking.
