Interfaith Food Bank facility upgrades
The Lethbridge Interfaith Food Bank is undergoing facility upgrades, with the installation of two new cold storage units. The project cost was approximately $140,000 with most of the contributions being donated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This will allow the food bank to increase the amount of fresh and frozen foods they have available. Given the challenges of inflation, leading to increased food bank usage, and the approaching expensive Christmas holiday season, this upgrade will be a valuable resource for those in need.
