Woman charged with manslaughter in 2023 homicide death
A 36-year-old woman has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the 2023 death of a 62-year-old man.
Back on September 12th of 2023 Lethbridge Police were called after a 62-year-old man showed up at Chinook Regional Hospital with severe head injuries. He was airlifted to Calgary in life-threatening condition but later died from his injuries.
The police investigation determined the victim had been involved in a dispute with a female acquaintance that escalated to a physical confrontation resulting in the victim being struck in head. 2026 autopsy results ruled the death a homicide.
Initial efforts to locate the female subject, who is known to lead a transient lifestyle, were unsuccessful and in July 2026, a warrant was issued for her arrest. The woman was arrested in Calgary at the end of August on an unrelated matter and the Lethbridge warrant was executed.
Thirty-six-year-old Jade Tiffany Ann Little of Calgary, is charged with one count of manslaughter. She remains in custody and is scheduled to make her next court appearance September 15th.
