Winter Walk In The Park celebrates three year anniversary
It is the third anniversary of the Coaldale Winter Walk In The Park. This year’s theme is: In Search Of The Gem Of The West. Families can take a leisurely stroll through the park and enjoy the beautiful lights while trying to find some of the gems that have been placed in the park. The Community Services Manager for the Town of Coaldale, Cindy Hoffman, explains what you can expect when you head into the event.
“As families stroll through the park, they’re going to encounter over 51,000 lights this year. Light displays have been designed by over seven different communities groups, one church, and three individuals. Visitors will find themselves in the middle of a story as they search for those gems of the west. They’ll make their way past the lanterns that are going to guide them into the park. They’ll encounter an enchanted forest first, and travel through a tunnel to find themselves in a magical cave. Then they’ll discover the plains area.”
The park will be open every Saturday and Wednesday between 5:30 and 8:30 PM until December 29th.
