Wildrose Independence Party leadership candidate talks RCMP flaws

Nominations are now open for the leadership of the Wildrose Independence Party of Alberta. Paul Hinman was the Interim leader, but now he’s throwing his hat in the ring to try to become the party’s full time leader. One of the policies the party is campaigning on is the implementation of an Alberta Police Force to replace the current RCMP in Alberta. Hinman says that he does not want the federal government telling police what they can and can not do.

The RCMP employs 4200 people in 113 detachments throughout Alberta.
