Traffic Circle to be installed on College Drive near Polytechnic

The City of Lethbridge is letting the public know its intentions of constructing a new traffic circle near the Polytechnic that will impact traffic near College Drive.
The city intends to commence construction on the traffic circle at the intersection of College Drive South and 28 Avenue to Tudor Boulevard South. Construction is planned for the summer of 2026 when classes at Lethbridge Polytechnic are out of session.
The city says the new installation is meant to improve east-west traffic flow during peak times while maintaining current conditions for north-south travel.
Residents and business owners are invited to attend an informational open house at College Drive Community Church this Thursday at 6:30 p.m., where the design will be revealed
