2026 3A Basketball Provincials arrives at Coaldale schools

Prairie Winds Secondary in Coaldale say they are excited to be hosting basketball provincials alongside other schools in Coaldale as School Sport Alberta’s 3A tournament got underway Thursday morning.

Twenty-four boys’ and girls’ teams across Alberta have gathered to compete at Prairie Winds, R.I. Baker Middle and Kate Andrews High School for a 40 game, bracket-style tournament that continues until Saturday, March 21st.

The Tournament’s Chair says a lot of work was done to pull this bid off, with over 150 students, staff and community members volunteering for the weekend.
