The Canadian Taxpayers Federation has reacted to the Trudeau government’s announcement of a GST cut to save taxpayers money. Federal officials say the cut will save taxpayers around 1.6 billion dollars over the next couple of months. Franco Terrazzano is the CTF’s federal director and he says this cut, while welcomed, simply does not go far enough. The Trudeau government plans to end the GST holiday on February 15.
