Taber Police rescue raccoon from unusual place

The Taber Police Services has seen it all, but when officers responded to a call last week, they encountered a pesky situation. A baby raccoon had crawled up inside a truck and was stuck, that’s when the owner of the truck called the Taber Police Service to assist.

Community Standards Officer, Todd Boychuk, says it was the first type of call regarding a raccoon for the police service.

Taber Police would like to remind people the importance of checking around their vehicle for any possible objects or dangers that may be in the way before driving away.
