Taber man charged with child sex abuse material

A 35-year-old Taber, Alberta man is facing charges of distributing child sex abuse materials.

On February 11th Taber Police, along with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team’s Internet Child Exploitation or ICE unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 46 hundred block of 51st Avenue.

Police say David Koethler has been charged with possessing, accessing, transmitting, distributing, selling or making available Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material. He’s also been charged with unlawful storage of firearms. Koethler is scheduled to appear in Taber Court on April 7th.

Landon is a recent graduate of the Radio and Television program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton. He previously obtained a diploma for Christian Ministries at Home Church Bible College in Red Deer, Alberta.
