Stop using A.I. to make materials of missing boy, say police

While searchers remained hopeful on Monday, concerns are mounting over the safety of 11-year-old Parker, who went missing Thursday. The search is now in its sixth day.

In a social media post Monday, Incident Commander for the search, Staff Sergeant Becky Spohr provided an update on the search effort, as well as how specialized technology is being used to help locate missing 11-year-old Parker.

And, police are asking civilians to stop using artificial intelligence to create or edit materials related to the search for Parker. At a Monday press conference, Acting Staff Sergeant Scott Guterson spoke about the impact AI-generated images are having on the investigation.
