Southern Alberta baseball community remembers umpire Mitch Ball
The baseball community in western Canada has lost one of the best. Mitch Ball, a southern Alberta umpire for the WCBL has recently passed away of COVID-19. The 47-year old leaves behind a wife and six children. Ball spent more than two decades with the Western Canadian Baseball League, and the city of Lethbridge. As Ainsley O’Riley explains, he was adored by many, and will be remembered for his infectious personality.
