SCAN shuts down drug property in Lethbridge southside

Alberta Sheriffs closed a problem property where criminal activity had prompted more than 60 calls to police since 2021.

SCAN which is The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods unit obtained a court order against the property owner of 1025 12th Street South. The community safety order bars all people from the property until the closure period ends on Jan. 26, 2026.

SCAN says it hopes neighbours and surrounding residents will finally have peace of mind following the multiple disturbances from the property over time.

Landon is a recent graduate of the Radio and Television program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton. He previously obtained a diploma for Christian Ministries at Home Church Bible College in Red Deer, Alberta.
