Research Centre throws open doors to the public

It was a busy day at the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre which threw open its doors for an open house July 18. The event entitled Agriculture in Action … From the Lab to the Land … featured an open lab, interactive displays, bus tours of livestock facilities, short seminars by research scientists, and a variety of kids activities including a little equipment petting zoo. Associate director of research and technology Sean Cooke says the open house is great way to introduce people to the Centre.
