Reconciliation a big topic at SACPA

The idea of what reconciliation means to the community has been a hot button topic in the past few years since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was released in 2015. Much has been said about residential schools and the Sixties Scoop that impacted the Indigenous community in past decades. Don McIntyre, an Indigenous Governance and Business Management Professor at the University of Lethbridge, says that the truth of what happened to Indigenous peoples can be taught to our children from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
