Recent snowfall linked to 54 collisions in Lethbridge
This week, southern Alberta was hit with its first winter snowstorm of the year. While roads remain snow-covered, the Lethbridge Police Service says that from February 17th to this Friday, 54 collisions were reported to the Collision Reporting Centre. However, on Whoop-Up Drive and Highway 3, LPS says in terms of collisions, it has been relatively uneventful. For its part, the Alberta Motor Association is offering several recommendations to help drivers stay safe during the winter season.
