Province retracts decision to not cover insulin pumps, leaving diabetics with little trust

This week the provincial government reversed its decision not to cover insulin pumps through Alberta Health. The decision was first introduced back in May leaving many type 1 diabetics unhappy. On Thursday Health Minister Jason Copping said the decision was a mistake and retracted it. Jennifer Schultz is an insulin pump user and says she’s now leery that the province could go back on its word.
