Police searching for identity of person over suspicious child interaction
Lethbridge Police are asking for the public’s help locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a suspicious interaction with an 11-year-old girl.
At around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, police say the girl was playing in front of her northside home when she was approached by an unknown vehicle. The female driver of the vehicle told the child she was trying to give away a dog and asked if the child wanted it. No attempt was made to physically force the girl into the vehicle, and she immediately returned to her home.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a beige, older model minivan, similar to a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The driver is described as an older Caucasian female with short, curly grey hair. She was accompanied by a young Caucasian boy and a black, short-haired dog.

Anyone who can help identify the driver or registered owner of the vehicle is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 or call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
