There has been a lot of outrage in regards to Premier Danielle Smith’s potential gender identity and parental rights regulations and legislation in schools. Many feel it is an attack on the transgender community. There are also those, however, who are applauding what the premier is bringing forward. You can include David Leis VP of the Frontier Centre for Public Policy. Leis says parents should be celebrating the recent announcement by the Alberta government.
