Over $12K raised for STARS in a cooking class

Earlier this year, more than 500 Albertans took in a cooking class for a worthy cause. Umami shop in Lethbridge hosted an event called Cook for the STARS which was in support of STARS, which provides critical care, including their air ambulance services. Donor Relations and Development Officer of Municipal Relations for STARS, Martin Ebel says the donation of more than 12-thousand dollars was generous and very important to his organization. Owner of Umami Shop, Patricia Luu described why she chose STARS as the charity of choice.

The annual Cook for the STARS event was done in conjunction with Umami Shop, Subaru of Lethbridge, Kasko Cattle, and Van Arbor Homes.
