For many small businesses across the country, today is D-day. The deadline to payback the $60,000 Canadian Emergency Business Account loan otherwise known as CEBA or the pandemic loan. But the silver lining in all of this is, if a business is able to pay back at least $40,000 of it by today (January 18), the remaining $20k will be forgiven.
But, as Jeannette Rocher reports, there are some who feel the business owners who need that grant the most are the ones who won’t be able to benefit from it.
