New Galt Museum mosaic to showcase southern Albertans

The Galt Museum & Archives will be making the front window space of the museum more inclusive to all southern Albertans. Since 2011, the outside window of the museum has featured pictures from the 1950s of a group of shoppers. The museum is asking the community to submit pictures that will be put together into a new Community Mosaic. The CEO and Executive Director of the Galt, Darrin Martens, says this new initiative can hold almost 430 pictures in it. Submissions will be accepted until May 31st.

The Galt has a plan to unveil the new mosaic in early July.
