Neudorf recall petition deemed invalid, leaving supporters frustrated

Election Alberta has confirmed the status of three MLA recall petitions, with one confirmed as unsuccessful and two more deemed as invalid. One of those invalid petitions involves Lethbridge-East MLA Nathan Neudorf, but residents claim they never even got the chance to sign in the first place.

The applicant by the name of Ryan Tanner was reportedly unresponsive for requests for signatures and apparently never submitted the petition to Elections Alberta after the collection period. Jeff Milner, who initially attempted to kickstart a recall petition against Neudorf of his own, says it’s unfair that residents could not make their voices heard.

As of Tuesday, March 3, recall petitions have been determined to be unsuccessful, invalid, or had been withdrawn by the applicant. None have been successful so far with 12 more still under their signature collection periods.
