Nathan Neudorf re-elected in Lethbridge-East

It was a long night in Lethbridge on Monday evening. It was marred by delayed election results arriving from Elections Alberta. Candidates in Lethbridge were up late as they eagerly awaited the results. BCN’s Micah Quinn was at Moxies to chat with the Lethbridge UCP candidates on Monday evening.

It was an extremely tight race on Monday evening for the riding of Lethbridge-East. UCP candidate Nathan Neudorf was able to squeeze out the win against NDP candidate Rob Miyashiro. Neudorf collected 11,003 votes compared to Miyashiro’s 10,258.

Over in Lethbridge-West, it was not as close. UCP candidate Cheryl Seaborn was defeated by NDP candidate Shannon Phillips after Seaborn campaigned with the UCP for just under two months. Phillips received 12,083 votes compared to Seaborn’s 9,534.
