Many of you have heard of the Coutts 4. The four men who have been held in custody for close to two years now since the Coutts border protest during the COVID-19 pandemic. The four men Chris Carbert, Anthony Olienick, Jerry Morin and Christopher Lysak are all accused of conspiring to murder RCMP officers. They, along with others, were at Coutts protesting the government’s vaccine mandates and pandemic restrictions. The four accused were among 14 charged after police say they found weapons in three trailers near Coutts. None of the four have been granted bail and many are quite upset about that includes a mother of one of the Coutts 4 Betty Carbert, mom of Chris Carbert. She joined us from Lethbridge.
