Maintenance causes road and lane closures in Lethbridge

The City of Lethbridge will be working on a few road projects this week that will involve partial closures to key roads.

Crews will be doing maintenance on a pedestrian tunnel, that stretches underneath University Drive between Edgewood Boulevard West and Garry Drive/Heritage Boulevard West. Commuters can expect varying single lane closures while maintaining two-way traffic.

Railway crossing work is also taking place at 2nd Avenue north that will close the road between 28 and 31 street. But Eastbound access onto 2 Avenue from 30 Street will be maintained for those turning in from the Crowsnest Highway.

Additionally, the southbound lane on 23 street north between Park Meadows Boulevard and Meadowlark Boulevard is closed for road work. All three projects are expected to wrap up by Friday July 4th.
