Maduro’s arrest and its impact on Canada

The U.S. arrest of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro has shaken the world and Canadians are wondering how this will impact our nation. Our guest is David Leis, President of the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, and the host of – “Leaders on the Frontier”.

He and BCN host, Jeannette, discuss how the removal of Maduro might affect Venezuela’s economy and their people?   And if the U.S were to forcibly remove the current government – how do we know the replacement government would be any better?  And most importantly for Canadians, will Venezuelan oil displace Alberta oil in the American market.
