LPS warning public about high-risk offender

Lethbridge Police have issued a public warning about a high-risk offender who is residing in Lethbridge.

Twenty-three year old Cory Raymond Cook who has a history of sexually assaulting children is now in our community.

He was recently released from custody on a Peace Bond in relation to a sexual assault involving a four-year old girl.

Cook has been assessed as an above average risk to re-offend and is being monitored by police.

He is described as a caucasian male, around 5’9 tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Police say there is a risk to public safety.
