Lethbridge’s 311 chatbot gets a name: Breezy
Breezy is no longer just the nickname for our windy city. It’s also the new name for Lethbridge’s 311 chatbot. The name was selected after the city invited residents to participate in a contest to name its digital AI assistant. The tool provides quick answers about municipal programs and services. The name Breezy is inspired by Lethbridge’s well-known windy character and reflects both local identity and ease of use – as in, “it’s a breeze to use”. Breezy will continue to serve as the City’s digital assistant, providing faster, access to information about programs and services 24/7, 365. Since launching on April 28, Breezy has already handled over two thousand interactions.
