Lethbridge Metis community marks Metis Week & Louis Riel Day

Members of the Lethbridge Metis Association, commemorated Metis Week and Louis Riel Day this week with a flag raising on Thursday night.

The association which has run independently from the Metis Nation of Alberta for two years, says they are committed to connecting local members of Metis descent and promote pride in the community.

Metis Week in Lethbridge began on Monday and continues to run until Louis Riel Day on Sunday.
