Lethbridge Green Bin changes

The city of Lethbridge will no longer be collecting yard waste in green bins every week beginning November 7th until the spring. James Nicholls, Waste and Environment Collections Manager, highlights how the initiative will differ during the winter months and how locals can optimize the usage of their green bins.

Over the past six months, the city has seen more than 4,000 tonnes of materials being redirected from the landfill and into the green carts. That is certainly good to see.
