Lethbridge County to offer free agriculture-workshops this spring
Producers and farmers in southern Alberta will have access to free agriculture workshops this spring. The seminars are part of Lethbridge County’s Agriculture Extension Program. Matthew Wells, Rural Extension Specialist with Lethbridge County, says the training sessions will focus on exploring risk mitigation and management over time, as well as providing practical tips and tools for creating and maintaining shelterbelts
The Growing Opportunities Workshop runs March 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre, while the Shelterbelts and Resilient Landscapes Workshop takes place April 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Diamond City Community Hall. Both seminars include lunch.
