Lethbridge-County partners with Rocket-Doctor to expand rural healthcare access

A new partnership to expand access to primary and urgent care for residents who live in rural areas has launched today. The collaboration between Rocket Doctor and Lethbridge County gives residents access to licensed Alberta physicians virtually, from the location of their choice, with no user fees. Tory Campbell, Reeve with Lethbridge County says rural communities face challenges accessing healthcare due to geographic remoteness, long distances to facilities, transportation barriers, and a physician shortage in the region.
Campbell says services include urgent care, chronic condition management, primary care, and mental health support.
