A Lethbridge college instructor received a provincial award from the Association of Science and Engineering Professionals of Alberta. Jim Pinches is a geomatics technologist in the School of Engineering Technologies. He has been at the college for more than 20 years. He said he was taken aback by the award which honours educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching and a commitment to advancing technological studies.
