Lethbridge Chamber receives federal shop local funding
The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce has received over $139,000 of federal shop local funding. The new funding will allow the chamber to continue its efforts to encourage the community to support local businesses and organizations.
CEO of the Chamber, Cyndi Vos, says the funding will be split into four different initiatives.
- Shop Local – The campaign will focus on helping businesses with a retail component establish a strong local presence.
- Explore Local – The campaign will focus on the region’s offline experience including stores, hotels, restaurants, sports teams and more.
- Build Local – The campaign will focus on the region’s talent including thinkers, creators, athletes, entrepreneurs and more.
- Invest Local – The campaign will showcase the strength of the region as an agriculture hub.
The funding is in a partnership between both the Lethbridge Chamber and Alberta Chamber. If your business or organization would like to receive some funding, you can email or call the Lethbridge office for more information.
