Kidney health receives a significant boost in southern-Alberta

In its commitment to expanding access to kidney health services, the Alberta government is investing $22 million over three years towards renal dialysis expansion and modernization at the Chinook Regional Hospital. Hemodialysis in a hospital or dialysis center typically involves three treatments per week of four hours a day, which translates to a 12-hour treatment period per week.
