Canada’s universal healthcare system continues to lag behind that of most nations in the  Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development – otherwise known as OECD. Canada has longer wait times for diagnostics and surgery, and less access to physicians.  What needs to change?  Does our system need to become more “patient-centered?  Today’s guest has some suggestions – Emmanuelle Faubert is an economist with M–E–I, the Montreal Economic Institute.
