International Airshow flys back into Lethbridge this summer
The Lethbridge International Airshow is making a comeback this year after the event was canceled for the last 4 years. The show is expected to be a jam packed event featuring a number of aircraft, food trucks, monster truck rides, and even a showcase of classic cars on site. Vice President of the show, Dallas Harty, says planning for this year has been challenging following the unexpected passing of their president Brent Botfield.
“He had been such a huge part of the airshow for so many years and we’re still struggling to, you know we’re working real hard to figure everything out that Brent had basically quarterbacked. On a regular basis there’s things popping up you know that we’re remembering or coming across that Brent would’ve just naturally had looked after. We are looking forward to an awesome weekend. Lethbridge is synonymous for the International Airshow,” said Dallas Harty, Vice President of the International Airshow.
The airshow will be taking place on July 30, and 31, at the Lethbridge Airport.
