Interfaith Food Bank celebrates its 35th anniversary of serving our community. The group’s executive director, Danielle McIntyre, shares that the Interfaith Food Bank originated as a temporary measure, back in the 1980s, when the economy collapsed, but due to the need they stayed. She also says the Interfaith Food Bank wants to make sure they stay around for another 35 years. McIntyre adds for their 35th anniversary donation campaign they hope to reach 35 thousand dollars to go into their endowment fund. They are more than a 100 food banks and food hamper programs operating throughout Alberta
