How to inspire kids to change the world

Growing up a generation ago was very different than it is for kids today. Social media has had both a positive and negative impact on our children.  We see too many young people who have become accustomed to sedentary lifestyes and don’t know how to communicate without a device.  BUT we are also seeing kids who are changing the world for the better. 

How can we influence our children to be in that latter camp?  Dr. Tim Elmore has some ideas.  He is the author of thirty-five books including his bestseller. “I Can’t Wait, 52 stories of kids who changed their world … that you can read together”.  He’s also the founder and CEO of “Growing Leaders” and has spoken to half a million business leaders, universities, athletes and non-profits. 

He shares with BCN’s Jeannette Rocher stories of some of the inspiring kids he’s written about and offers parents advice on how to influence their kids to become positive world changers.
