According to data from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Alberta is on track to surpass its 2024 record-setting year of housing starts with 27,902 in the first two quarters of 2025.

Here in Lethbridge, the city saw a 26% increase from 289 to 363 from this time last year. BILD Lethbridge says the city will surpass its 10-year-average for starts, thanks to a healthy balance of growth of population and inventory.
