Healthcare worker says religious exemption not being considered

An open letter with over 3,500 signatures was sent to Alberta Health Services President Dr. Verna Yiu.  Health Professionals United is a group which is opposed to mandatory vaccination.  More than 70 doctors, and 1,000 nurses signed the letter. In Lethbridge, Toanie Kreft works in a seniors care home and is also opposed to vaccine mandates.  She says her employer emailed staff advising them to show proof of full vaccination, or be placed on unpaid leave.  She says that her employer is not considering the Charter rights and freedoms of the staff.
