HALO Air Ambulance announced they are launching the first HALO Lottery in partnership with Highline Angus. The grand prize will be 20 bred heifers or $50,000 in cash.
The 2021 HALO Cattle ‘er Cash Lottery will have 3,000 tickets made available for $100 each. The winner will choose between a grand prize of 20 bred heifers or $50,000 in cash.
“Heifers from a well known cattleman is key for sure, which is a big influx to a lot of operations,” says HALO Air Ambulance, chief executive officer, Paul Carolan “it’s a really cool way to get someone that’s in ranching a big number of cattle one time”.
In its first day, HALO sold over 10 percent of available tickets. Early projections show the lottery could generate around $200,000, with the potential to grow the fundraising initiative annually.
