Experts say federal alcohol excise tax increase will hurt the industry

Bars, restaurants and breweries across Canada are set to feel the pinch on April 1st. The federal government announced the biggest increase to the alcohol excise tax in 40 years. It is going up by 6.3 per cent. Experts say this tax will have a huge impact on those who enjoy a drink and the companies that provide them. BCN’s Micah Quinn has the details.
