Being mentally healthy is a state that we should always look for in our surroundings. Anxiety, depression and stress are on the list of factors that affect mental health and lead to mental illness. According to the Executive Director of Student Services at the University of Lethbridge, Mark Slomp, wellbeing is a state in which most areas of a person’s life are good. Slomp explains how experiences as a child impact a person’s mental health as they age. According to Stats Canada, in 2022 more than five million Canadians experienced some form of mental health disorder.
