Challenges ULethbridge facing to open Med School

Future medical students at the University of Lethbridge likely won’t begin their studies until at least the fall of 2026. And according to the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences it’s an ambitious goal.

So...how far away is that vision from becoming a reality and what steps still need to be taken before the first set of students arrive?

Dr. Jon Doan visited the Lethbridge Seniors Citizens Organization and spoke about the current state of health science education at the university. Doan discussed the challenges involved in starting this much needed medical education training facility in Lethbridge.
