Cannabis and other substances misused to manage ADHD symptoms

Using scientifically unapproved substances to alleviate the symptoms of ADHD or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder seems to be on the rise. Mark Davids, Manager of accessibility services with Lethbridge Polytechnic, explains how marijuana and other substances are being used by people who don’t realize they have ADHD as a neurodevelopmental condition. According to recent research, the most common drug used by adults with ADHD outside of cannabis is cocaine, followed by opioids, and then amphetamines.

Heidi was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until she was 18, then she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she finished her bachelor's degree in journalism.
