Bone and Biscuit raising funds for Lethbridge Humane Society
If you’re a pet lover in our city you will be able to get your furry friend a nice nail trim while helping out a great cause. The Bone & Biscuit on the city’s west side is hosting an event on Saturday to raise money for the Lethbridge Humane Society. The store chose the Humane Society for all the great work they do in our community. Reba-Jeane Furlotte, a Pet Groomer for the store, says it is important to get your pet’s nails trimmed every month or so.
“We do host the charity nail trims once a month for that reason. So that people can continuously come and give their donations and get their dogs nails trimmed. It depends on the animal as well. If it’s a very active dog it’s not going to need its nails trimmed as often. If it’s a dog who doesn’t move very often, it’s going to need it more often that not. Dogs with longer nails, the more often you trim its nail back the better. That case I would say every two weeks. It definitely depends on the animal.”
You can bring your dogs, cats, or bunnies for a trim. The event runs from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM this Saturday at the Bone & Biscuit.
