BBB warns people to beware of health product-scams

It’s a battle millions of Canadians are fighting. The battle to lose weight and in turn live a healthier life. But the Better Business Bureau is once again warning people to beware of health products that offer fast results. Wes Lafortune, Media Relations with the Better Business Bureau for southern Alberta, warns that with just one click, we can become victims of scammers…

Other recommendations from the BBB include, don’t be quick to trust endorsements, always research the company before doing business with them and avoid products that claim to help lose weight without diet or exercise.

Heidi Echavarria

Heidi was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until she was 18, then she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she finished her bachelor's degree in journalism.
