Artwork coming to city buses

A new initiative will literally be rolling through the streets of Lethbridge: Rolling Views: Art Bus Lethbridge. This temporary project will feature two buses with vinyl designs that will circulate along regular transit routes throughout Lethbridge for almost a year, starting in spring 2026. Artists can apply to participate by creating original artwork for city buses. KT Wilde, Public Art Coordinator at Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge, says applications will be open until November 17. Wilde explains the purpose of this new program. Wilde says this opportunity is open to artists or artist teams/collectives at all stages of their career who are residing in or have a meaningful connection to Lethbridge and the region
